STORM CHASERS
An exciting, new, teen fiction, sci-fi/adventure series.
Main Pitch:
A team of teen angels with special granted powers are returned to Earth, and given the assignment to help save people from severe weather elements.
Expanded Summary:
Four ordinary teenagers, going about their daily lives, each separately and unknown to one another—are killed by the effects of severe weather. A young man is crushed by a tornado; an 18-year-old girl gets swept away by a flooded, raging river; one bright, energetic soul is buried in an avalanche; and yet another youth succumbs to the extreme heat of the Sun.
When they arrive in Heaven, they are greeted by their guardian angels, who grant them a reprieve. They will be allowed to return to Earth, and have a second chance to live again, on one condition. They are going to receive special powers that give them control over each of the violent elements which killed them—wind, water, cold and heat. And are told to use these new capabilities to save others from a similar fate.
Prologue:
There was once a world called Earth, whose citizens waited and wondered, for a very long time, if they would ever be set free from the anger of the Gods from the skies above. For centuries, they waited and waited, and prayed time and again, until they thought all hope was lost.
Then, one day...they heard the call of redemption.
STORM CHASERS
Born from the skies. Sent to keep it in check.
I recently thought of a cool idea, that I'm considering using, for a wild, shocking ending.
(I actually took this from the concept of Dorothy waking up, in “The Wizard of Oz.”)
The entire experience wasn't even real; it was all just a dream. One morning, the kids awaken, and find that they're alive, complete and back home with their families!
